We are a group of lawyers bound by a sense of loyalty and commitment to our clients, by our pleasure in working intensely, and by our intellectual involvement with the practice of law.
We have devised our own organizational model, where all lawyers are promptly called to undertake a deep and enduring commitment to the firm and its clients.
We share, at all levels of seniority, the responsibility and benefits of providing legal services renowned for their excellence. Transparency and collegiality permeate the firm’s practice and its relationship with clients.
We believe in these values as a means of developing meticulous and customized work focused on the specific needs of our clients and on forging long-term relationships of trust.
HUCK OTRANTO CAMARGO was founded in 1993 by lawyers with extensive academic and professional experience, among them Fabio de Campos Lilla, Hermes Marcelo Huck, Raquel Maria Sarno Otranto Colangelo and Estela Lemos Monteiro Soares de Camargo, whose sound academic background and continued education constitute the cornerstone of the firm’s high-quality services. Many of our lawyers are professors, hold doctorates, master’s or postgraduate degrees both from Brazilian and foreign institutions.
We recruit trainees from the most traditional and prestigious Brazilian law schools, favoring organic growth to nurture and maintain a uniform professional culture. Most of HUCK OTRANTO CAMARGO’s partners joined the firm as trainees.
We understand and practice corporate law from a collegiality mind set. Our internal structure favors the organization of interdisciplinary teams working collaboratively to provide truly comprehensive services.
For us, size is not a starting point or an identity. Our size allows us to balance the ability to carry out complex work with a deep and personal understanding of our clients and their needs.
